Movie Fan Sells His £1 Million Collection of Hollywood Stuff

A British movie buff is selling his one million pounds collection of Hollywood memorabilia - after it became too big for his home. Luke Kay's mammoth haul features iconic props used in all three Star Wars films as well as Battlestar Gallactica, The Matrix and a host of other big screen classics.

He has two outfits worn by Luke Skywalker actor Mark Hamill - one from Star Wars: A New Hope and one from The Empire Strikes Back. The collection features Skywalker's original light sabre from The Empire Strikes Back. And the 42-year-old even has one of the original 'Kit' cars from 80s hit TV show Knight Rider, which starred David Hasselhoff.

The extraordinary collection was a cause of friction with wife Sharon, 42, who banned it from the house. Three years ago they split after 21 years of marriage and now the costumes and props have completely taken over his new home. Over the last 26 years dad of four Luke has built up his collection of props and costumes and added to it with one-off replicas.
