Uma Thurman looked golden when she made her arrival at the “Ceremony” Los Angeles Premiere held at ArcLight Cinemas on Tuesday, March 22nd, 2011 in Hollywood, California. She stunned fans looking drop dead gorgeous in a gold lame trench dress and bedazzled Jimmy Choo Enigma Metallic Suede sandals.
My favorite feature from her entire ensemble is her French bohemian inspired hairdo created by celebrity stylist David Babaii. Want to know how you can re-create this look on yourself?
To achieve, David Babaii prepared Uma’s freshly washed and conditioned hair by massaging a dime size amount of Couture Colour Pequi Oil Treatment into her tresses from roots to ends, combing it through with a wide tooth comb for even distribution.
Next, he used a blow dryer to dry the hair with a large round brush, lifting the root area for added volume and cupping the ends under for a smooth, rounded finish. After drying, he applied an additional amount of Pequi Oil for control and then loosely gathered the hair with his fingers and braiding it into a long, loose braid down the center back.
He secured it with a rubber band while leaving the shorter top and side layers free. To finish, David created soft loose curls with a 1 ½” curling iron by taking large sections and wrapping them around the inside barrel, holding for a few seconds. He then released allowing the curls to fall naturally to achieve a true French Bohemian Look.
You can catch Uma’s new film “Ceremony” when it hits theaters on April 8th, 2011.
